A Non-Fictional War: 2023 Awards

July 17, 2023

AWARDS

AWARDS FOR THE TRAILER

Moscow Nights has placed in the “Best Trailer” category for “Oleksandra Basko’s A Non-Fictional War” in several festivals spanning the globe.

From several ‘Winner’ accolades to ‘Official Selections’, the trailer continues to place well much to our pride at the work’s art and effort everyone at Moscow Nights invested in it.

The trailer provides a 2.5-minute preview of the organization’s theatre-on-film presentation based on Basko’s war diary detailing her family’s saga during the early days of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Artistic Director Natasha O. Ramer adapted the diary for theater and directed the production. Cinematographer Antony Sandoval directed the trailer, which features New Orleans actors Erin Cessna and Casey Groves.
